Manesar Resort

A complete redevelopment of an existing resort in Manesar, India, spanning guest rooms, suites, dining venues, and expansive public areas.

Delivered over two years while the property remained fully operational, the project demanded meticulous planning and an on-the-ground approach from our Australia-based team.

The scope integrated civil works, landscape and horticulture, water management, and interior design — working closely with local artisans and skilled craftsmen.

At the heart of the resort, a new rainwater catchment is spanned by a striking arch bridge, serving as both a focal point and a vital component of the site’s water strategy.

Over 20,000 new plants and mature trees are sustained through surface water redirected via a network of bio-swales, enhancing biodiversity and replenishing the groundwater table.

The resort now operates entirely on electric power, supported by a 170 kW rooftop solar installation.

Lighting design minimises light pollution, with fixtures directed downward to protect and preserve the property’s rich natural habitat.

Guest rooms were reoriented to the south and shaded by deep eaves, ensuring full daylight in winter and complete summer shade.

Materials were deliberately restrained, incorporating certified recycled elements and prefabricated components, produced locally by artisan workers from the surrounding community.
